Gives you the average Cost, TARPs and CPT of the top 50 programmes by month and channel based off the parameters entered.

 

If you are buying to a top programmes strategy this template allows you to see how it varies for different channels by month and year.

 

 

Edit the Parameters as required:

▪Ratecard

▪Order - Select depending upon whether you wan the results based on the Top 50 Cost Efficient Programmes or Top 50 High Rating Programmes

▪Week Days -  defaults to all days of the week

▪Demographic

▪Start and End times - default's to Peak

▪Programmes are in Zone if - Define if a Programme falls within the selected Daypart if the Middle, Some or All of the Programme is within the Start and End Times.

▪Include programme time outside of Zone - If part of the Programme is outside the Start and End Times, choose if the audience/rate for that time is included in the results

▪Metric - 000s or TARPs

▪Number of Programmes to Average - defaults to 50

▪Date to Start - default start date for the report

▪Included Programme Name(s) - type the name of the programme you want included in the analysis and report

▪Excluded Programme Name(s) - type the name of the programme you want excluded in the analysis and report

 

 

A set of buttons allows you to perform different tasks:

▪Fill Entire Sheet - will fill in entire sheet based on the parameters entered

▪Fill Selected Cells - will fill in only cells you have selected

▪Clear - will clear entire sheet of results so you can make changes and run again

▪View Details - will provide you with the details of the Top Programmes used to create the averages

▪Generate Dates - regenerates a 12 month date range if you've changed the Date to Start cell

 

Results will display the average Cost, TARPs and CPT by month and channel.

 

 

To view what programmes have been used select the results for one of the channels and months and click on View Details.

This will provide you with the details of the top 50 programmes that have been used to get the averages - screen looks similar to the Top Programmes template results.

 

The Return to Summary button will take you back to the main tab.
