TVmap in Excel is a powerful, flexible module accessing TVmap data directly within Microsoft Excel*. Customised interactive worksheets can be built, which will automatically recalculate when new data is received.
Select the TVmap in Excel tile on the TVmap home screen.
Or select File > New > TVmap in Excel
A list of standard templates will be displayed.
Hover the mouse over a template to display more information.
Opening Saved Templates
Use the Open Existing to re-open saved templates.
A template created in TVmap uses the TVmap functions connected to the TVmap database. If a TVmap worksheet is opened outside of TVmap a prompt for links will be displayed. All links to TVmap functions will be invalid and the TVmap database will not be accessible.
To distribute a worksheet created through TVmap, all TVmap functions must be removed. All formulas need to be replaced with values, and a new copy created.
Export to Excel
To remove the TVmap functions from a template it needs to be exported to Excel.
Select TVmap from the Excel ribbon, then select Export to create a new copy of the current workbook.
All links to TVmap functions will be removed, and replaced with the displayed values. The exported workbook can be saved and opened by a non-TVmap user.
