Average000s is the average audience over a specified time period, however it is not the cumulative total (total unique audience). Thousands (usually written 000s) is the total number of people viewing divided by 1,000 for a specified period, demographic and station.
To calculate thousands from a TARP figure, multiply the TARP by the potential, then divide by 100. If the potential is expressed in people instead of thousands of people, divide by 1000
The Average000s function requires the following parameters:
DayMask [Optional]
VST [Optional]
TFB [Optional]
TV_Type [Optional]
Example
Below is an example of the Average000s function used to calculate the Average000s for TVNZ 2* between 19:30-20:30, using demographic All 25-54, week commencing 02/06/2019, on weekdays only.
