There are different options available based on the environment:

 

Single User Install

Multiple User Install

 

 

 

Single User TVmap Client Install Instructions

 

Login with the windows userID that will be using TVmap

 

Use correct path to browse to the TVmapClientInstaller on the TVmap App Server

\\<TVmapServer>\TVmap\Shared\Install\TVmapSetup-SingleUser

 

Run the TVmapSetup.exe

 

TVmap setup will be installed to the local user directory

%LOCALAPPDATA%\BroadcastMap\TVmapApplication

 

There is no completed notification but you will see the TVmap icon on the users desktop

 

 

 

Multiple User TVmap Client install

 

•Central install preventing automatic updates

•Requires administration rights to install

 

This would be used for Citrix or Terminal Server environments.

 

1. Browse to the following location

\\<TVmapServer>\TVmap\Shared\Install\TVmapSetup-MultiUser

 

2. Check the three files below exist

 

3. Open C:\Program Files\BroadcastMap\TVmap\ManifestDetails.xml

 

4. Change <AllowUpdateCheck> to  'false'

 

5. Using administration rights run the TVmapSetup.exe

 

 

 

6. This will setup the TVmap machine level bootstrapper in the central directory on a multi-user machine

C:\Program Files\BroadcastMap\TVmap
