Open Competitive Expenditure by selecting the Competitive Expenditure tile on the TVmap home screen
Or by selecting File > New > Competitive Expenditure
TVmap will show the Competitive Expenditure home screen. It will appear with options to Open Existing, Create New Document and showing Recent Templates, and Custom Templates.
To open, click the desired option.
When selecting Create New Document a blank Competitive Expenditure report will open in Excel*.
When a new Competitive Expenditure document has loaded, the following information can be entered:
Document Name |
A name for the document.

Client |
Client name.
|
Demographic |
The demographic to be used for ratings information.
|
Run Reports To |
This will default to the All Regions TV date. It also governs the Automatic Report Updates. If a manual date is not chosen, reports will automatically run based around this date or to the latest available date period. This date field provides the overriding date for the whole document. Each worksheet will default from this date based on the worksheet settings and report type.

Latest Competitive Expenditure data |
A summary of the latest Competitive Expenditure data is available showing the latest dates for Nielsen AIS data.
