Open Tools > Client Maintenance to add\modify or delete clients and products at any time.  

Alternatively in the Buying module New Session window select the Client Maintenance button.

 

You can search for clients and products by entering a string in the search box highlighted below to filter the list.

 

IMPORTANT:

Clients and products are not user specific - any changes made to a client or product affects all users.

 

 

Adding New Client / Product

Select the New Client button to create a new client.

Enter the Client Name, Billing System Code, Financial Year and Client Codes per Broadcaster. Contact the broadcaster if you are unsure of the client or product Broadcaster Client or Product Code.

 

These are the default broadcaster codes used for Electronic Booking. This allows the broadcaster to know what client and product the booking is for in their system.

If you don't have these values entered then you will be unable to send an electronic booking to the Broadcaster.

 

Billing System Code is for future use and can be left blank.

 

 

Select Apply to save.

 

To add a new product, select a Client then select the New Prod button to create a new product.  

Enter the Product Name and Product Codes per Broadcaster.

 

Select Apply to save.

 

 

Financial Year

Select a Client, select the Edit button and choose the Financial Year from the drop down box.  

 

Select Apply to save.

 

 

VID Maintenance

Volume Incentive Discount (VID) is a client based discount which is typically set annually in conjunction with the broadcaster.

Select a Client, then select the VID Maintenance button to open the VID Maintenance window.  

 

VID's will be applied to any existing or future buys matching the client, date and channel entered.

 

Campaign Manager and Pre Analysis VID’s are obtained from the billing system.

This may be different from the values set here in client maintenance.

 

If using TVmap Holdings as the billing system, then VID's entered in VID Maintenance are used for Campaign Manager and Pre Analysis.

 

 

 

 

Deleting a Client / Product

Select the Client or Product then select Delete.

 

IMPORTANT:

If a Client or Product is deleted, all associated buys will be deleted. The Client or Product will be deleted for ALL users.
