Provides a quick reference to details of episode and TV series information for easy analysis. Programme Search displays both historic and future information. Future information will extend out to the latest buyable dates available and will not contain ratings information. Programme Profiling can be run to provide insights into audience profiles.
Open Programme Search by selecting the Programme Search tile on the TVmap home screen.
Or by selecting File > New > Programme Search
TVmap will display the Programme Search screen.
Programme Search options
There are a number of different parameters that can be used to search.
Search Programmes - enter part of or the full programme name. If this space is left blank, all programmes will be returned based on the other parameters.
Other optional filters can be used if desired.
Date - enter a date range. By default, this covers one historical year from the latest ratings date.
Time - enter a time range.
DOW - enter the days of the week.
Channel - select the channel.
Genre - select the genre.
Once parameters have been entered, click Search.
Programme results will be displayed in the Results grid along with the number of screenings. Select a programme or multiple programmes (by holding down Ctrl while selecting, or clicking and dragging). The screenings for programmes will display under Selected Screening(s).
Results Grid
Programmes that match the search parameters will appear within the Results Grid. Results will be ordered alphabetically and the total number of matching screenings will be displayed under No. of Screenings. To view the results, Click Select All. Highlighted results will display in the Selected Screening(s) grid.
Programmes in upper case are yet to air and do not contain rating information.
Selected Screening(s)
Information relating to selected screenings will display in the grid. This includes cost and ratings data based on the chosen demographic.
If more than one programme is selected, average results for selected programmes will display in the status bar at the bottom of the screen.
Episodes that are yet to go to air will show the Cost and expected Start/End time and Duration. Columns can be reordered by clicking and dragging a column heading to the desired location.
Selected Screenings can be exported to Excel* for further analysis using the 
button in the top toolbar. Export Grid to Excel for all results or Export Selection to Excel for selected screenings.
Episodes can be profiled based on audience by selecting Programme Profile or Quarter Hour View to view surrounding programmes.
If more than one programme is selected average results for the selected programmes will be displayed in the TVmap status bar at the bottom of the screen.
View Programme Synopsis
To bring up programme synopsis select a screening from the Selected Screening(s) list.
Then under View click on View Programme Synopsis.
Results will be displayed down the left hand side. Selecting a programme will bring up more information in the main screen.
